For our Equipment & Mobilizations Department we are currently looking for a Technical Superintendent.


The job:

As a Technical Superintendent you manage an operational equipment team. You are responsible for preparing and executing modification of cable-laying-vessel deck layout, according project specific requirements, for the vessel to be fit for purpose. You will be part of the engineering, in combination with the project team, you will be appointed responsible for the preparations, and carry out the modification of vessel deck layout. Vessel deck layout modification, vessel preparations, or vessel (de)mobilisation might include removal and installation of equipment; including but not limited to structural modifications, electrical modifications, mechanical installations, commissioning, amendments on procedures, certification, and final testing. You will supervise the (de)mobilization activities. Responsible for the correct registration and reporting of progress, planning and budget documentation to make sure all goods and resources are available. You will ensure timely test runs in order to meet project requirements.

  • Bachelor (HBO) Technical or Nautical;
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a maritime / offshore environment;
  • Good command of the English language (both written and spoken);
  • Knowledge of the technical and operational processes of offshore vessel and equipment.
