VBMS offers year-round internships for students and recent graduates in a variety of engineering disciplines. Internships help your career by giving you valuable employment skills and experience. At VBMS, they're a great way to get noticed and to see if VBMS is the right fit for you.
To qualify as an intern, you'll need to be a third or fourth year student in a sub-discipline of engineering. Your educational background will be in civil or mechanical engineering or marine technology at higher technical college or university (HBO and WO in the Dutch system). In addition, you must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Netherlands. You'll need to be passionate about technology, particularly technologies used for maritime infrastructure.
In return, VBMS will provide you with a monthly stipend and cover transport costs to and from our premises. You'll work with other professionals from a range of cultures and backgrounds on projects with a global outlook. You'll also be entrusted to work autonomously with a high degree of responsibility. An entrepreneurial mind-set and the ability to take initiative will give you a head start.
To apply for an internship, simply send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, telling us your discipline and ideas for what you would prefer to work on. We cannot guarantee that we will have an exact match to fit your preferences, in which case we will discuss alternatives with you before proceeding.
